This is Mohammad Sakib Mahmood, a dedicated and highly
motivated computer scientist with a passion for cutting-edge technologies and
data-driven solutions. I hold a Master's degree in Computer Science from Missouri State
University, U.S.A where I immersed myself in advanced concepts and techniques to solve
complex problems in the digital realm. Prior to that, I completed my Bachelor's degree
in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at American International
University-Bangladesh, where I developed a solid foundation in both hardware and
software systems.
My academic journey has provided me with a deep understanding of computer science
principles and a broad range of technical skills. From my early years, I was
captivated by the power of programming and its ability to transform ideas into
reality. As I delved deeper into the field, I discovered the infinite possibilities
that computer science offers in terms of innovation and problem-solving.During my
Master's program at Missouri State University, I specialized in advanced topics such
as machine learning, data science, and artificial intelligence. I honed my
programming skills and gained hands-on experience with languages such as Python,
Java, C, C++, and JavaScript. Additionally, I became proficient in utilizing popular
developer tools and frameworks like VS Code, PyCharm, Spyder, TensorFlow, and
scikit-learn. Through coursework, projects, and research, I developed a strong
foundation in algorithms, data structures, and software development methodologies.
As a Machine Learning Data Engineer at Central Station Marketing Technology, I had
the opportunity to apply my computer science expertise to real-world problems. Using
state-of-the-art tools like Pytorch, Google Cloud AutoML, TensorFlow, and
scikit-learn, I worked on building and analyzing datasets, performing statistical
inference, and deriving valuable insights through information visualization
techniques. This experience further strengthened my understanding of machine
learning algorithms and their practical applications.During my time as a Research
Associate at Missouri State University, I delved into the exciting field of
reinforcement learning. I leveraged my programming skills in Python, alongside tools
like VS Code, FTG 4.50, OpenAi gym, and Py4j, to develop a deep understanding of
reinforcement learning algorithms applied to self-play fighting games. This hands-on
experience enabled me to master the art of creating environments and implementing
reinforcement learning models.
In my role as a Research & Teaching Assistant at American International
University-Bangladesh, I had the opportunity to combine my expertise in computer
science with my passion for teaching and mentoring. I conducted analyses in IoT
(Internet of Things) based on artificial intelligence, where I applied my
programming skills to develop innovative solutions. Additionally, I provided
individual attention and assistance to students, helping them grasp complex concepts
in programming languages such as C and C++. I also collaborated with faculty members
on research projects, where I leveraged data analysis techniques to derive
meaningful insights.Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have actively
engaged in research, published papers, and completed various projects. These
experiences have allowed me to explore a wide range of computer science
applications, from cost-effective optimal solutions for hybrid power systems to
machine learning-based analysis of heart disease. I have a keen interest in
leveraging my skills in Python, data analysis, and machine learning to develop
intelligent systems that can make a positive impact on society.
In addition to my computer science expertise, I have sought continuous growth and
learning through certifications in areas such as AWS Fundamentals, Graph Analytics
for Big Data, Python for Data Science and AI, R Programming, Deep Learning from
deeplearning.ai, and Machine Learning Foundations. These certifications showcase my
commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements and
